Girls Night Out (GNO) is a fundraiser
to empower the girls of Marian Middle School.

For over a decade, GNO has generated a popularity for empowering women leaders to help Marian break the cycle of poverty for girls through transformational education - all within a powerful networking event. After two years of successful virtual GNO events, we are excited to return to the Charles Knight Center at Washington University for an amazing in-person Girls Night Out!

During the event, you will hear from current students and Marian alumnae, have a chance to network with influential empowering business women from across the region, and support Marian Girls!

Last year, with your support, we successfully surpassed our Fund-A-Need goal of $20,000 to support Marian's Food and Nutrition Program for the entire school year.

This year, we are hoping to surpass that goal again and raise another $20,000 - enough to provide girls with breakfast, lunch and snacks the entire school year! That's the equivalent of just $294 per girl!

As female leaders, we have the power - and the responsibility - to Light The Way for young girls of ALL backgrounds as they reach for the stars and fulfill their dreams. Together we are Educating Girls For Life! Join us for an amazing event that will ignite your ambition and brighten the pathways to success for Marian Girls.

IMPACT

For more than 20 years, Marian has provided life-changing education and care to 300 girls and counting. Join us for an amazing event that will leave you empowered and revitalized to continue making a positive impact on behalf of Marian Girls.

Through our partnership, Marian Girls are overcoming the impossible with grit and persistence.

  • 85% face poverty, traveling from up to 30 zip codes to receive a life-altering education
  • 100% of alumnae graduated high school, compared to 72% of students from local public schools
  • 100% of Marian 8th graders graduated and will attend high performing high schools across the region
  • 69 Marian Girls are thriving in their post-secondary education journeys
  • 65 Marian alumnae have obtained their college degrees, while others are pursuing their Master's Degrees, and applying to law school, and medical school
  • 52 Marian Girls are flourishing in their career journeys at Ascension, BJC Healthcare, the American Red Cross, and more!

Hear from Marian alum, Alexis, and her mother about how
Marian Middle School made a difference in their lives.

Parking Information

To alleviate traffic build-up on Throop Drive when entering the event, we encourage ticket groups to carpool if possible, and consider arriving slightly before the event (anytime between 5 and 5:30). Anyone parking in the garage at 5 p.m. or later will receive free parking.

Parking is located in the Millbrook garage. Please remember to take a parking ticket, as you must have it to get the gate up and get free parking when you leave the garage.

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS

Before and during the event itself, our Development Team will be busy preparing a great program for our guests. If you have immediate needs, please text Kristin Gumper at (314) 630-5459, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We can't wait to see you tonight for our in-person event. Thank you for your support.
